Silvio Costa graduated from York University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (Honours) in accounting. Shortly after, he began his career as Chief Financial Officer at a major roofing company in Toronto, where he played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth from $8 million to over $100 million in annual sales.
During his tenure, Silvio led the implementation of a comprehensive ERP system that integrated all aspects of project management—from tendering and execution to accounting and closing. He also spearheaded multiple mergers and acquisitions, creating synergies that established the company as a one-stop provider for complete building envelope solutions.
In addition to overseeing corporate finance, Silvio successfully negotiated banking arrangements, managed insurance portfolios, and contributed to the company’s strategic expansion initiatives.
With over a decade of leadership experience in construction and operations, Silvio has spent the past two years as Chief Financial Officer at Maxim Roofing Ltd., where he continues to apply his financial expertise and strategic insight to support the company’s growth and success.
